From 1 May 2021, Dependant’s pass holders who wish to continue working in Singapore will need to apply for a relevant work pass, such as an Employment Pass or an S Pass. This is a replacement of the Letter of Consent (LoC), which is currently used.

Existing DP LoC holders will continue to be allowed to work in Singapore until the expiry of their LoC, according to MOM. Sufficient time to transition to a relevant work pass will be provided to existing DP holders who are currently working on LoCs.

Relevant qualifying salary and or levies for the individual work passes will apply to these new changes.
