9 May 2004 - Following on from the success of Black Mountain's inaugural Touch American Football Tournament last year, we again hosted this unique sporting event in Hong Kong held on the artificial grass pitch at the Hong Kong Football Club in Happy Valley. Interest for this year's tournament was overwhelming which meant the tournament was fully booked within 3 weeks of its announcement. To accommodate the interest we increased the number of participating teams from 7 to 12 but we were still in the unfortunate position of having to turn teams away. With approximately 13 team members per team we had over 150 competitors taking part originating from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, England, Sweden, Ireland and Scotland. Some of the companies that took part included Cantor Fitzgerald, Ward Ferry Management, K2/Rawlings Global Sourcing, Atkins China Ltd, CSFB, Citigate Lloyd Northover, Swiss Reliance, Delia School of Canada and of course our very own Black Mountain Beacons. The team ‘Hare Malley' was not successful in defending their title this year and lost out to ‘Team Rawlings' in the Cup final.
