2003 Season

26 July 2003 - Black Mountain hosted our first one-day Touch American Football Tournament with the aim of inviting American nationals to get teams together to take part in a game of social touch football, a sport that is not normally available in Hong Kong. Infact this was Hong Kong's first ever touch football tournament and it was held on an artificial Astroturf pitch in the middle of the Happy Valley race course on Hong Kong Island on a blistering hot day.

Seven teams, with ten players in each team, took part in the round robin tournament including Credit Suisse First Boston, Ward Ferry Management, Monitor Management Consultants, TMP/Hudson HR Consulting, Atkins China Ltd, Cantor Fitzgerald and our very own Black Mountain ‘Beacons'.
